Troubleshooting

Use these fixes for the most common app issues. If the problem persists, send us the details listed below so we can narrow it down quickly.

Notifications

Reminders not firing?

Check notification permissions in Android Settings → Apps → Rite → Permissions → Notifications. Also verify that Rite is not restricted by battery saver. If notifications still don't work, try toggling the reminder off and on again in Settings.

Sign-In

Google sign-in failing?

First, update Google Play Services from the Play Store. Restart the app and retry. If it still fails, go to Android Settings → Apps → Google Play Services → Storage → Clear Cache and try again. Include the full error message in your support ticket if the problem persists.

Widget

Widget not updating?

Open the app once after adding the widget, then complete a habit to trigger the first sync. The widget should update within 15 seconds. For persistent issues, remove and re-add the widget, or try restarting your device.

Data

Need to delete your account?

Visit the Data Deletion page to submit a request. All your habit data, streaks, and account information will be permanently erased. This action cannot be undone.
